Double Bass Masterclass

A leading figure among the new generation of double bassists, Lorraine Campet has made a name for herself through her exceptional talent, musicality, and dedication to her instrument. As principal double bassist of the Paris National Opera Orchestra, she simultaneously pursues a career as a soloist and chamber musician, performing on the most prestigious stages in France and across Europe.

During this masterclass, young double bassists will have the privilege of working alongside her to explore the key challenges of musical interpretation. Each session will feature an in-depth exchange between the artist and the participants, in a spirit of mentorship and support.

Open to the public, this event offers a chance to discover the daily work of a world-class musician and to observe, up close, the dialogue that unfolds between a renowned performer and the next generation of double bassists.
