“In the skin of a soloist from the Paris Opera”, a commented flute & piano recital — Iris Daverio & Jorge González Buajasán, with Emmanuel Jaeger, artistic advisor to the festival.

We invite you to a memorable moment at the Fontainebleau Theatre: a recital by Iris Daverio, super-solo flautist with the Orchestre de l’Opéra national de Paris and artistic director of the Cadences Libres festival, accompanied at the piano by Jorge González Buajasán.

Emmanuel Jaeger, former violinist and artistic advisor to Cadences Libres, will question Iris Daverio about the working process of a soloist and the life of an orchestral musician.

The recital programme takes you on a lyrical and poetic journey through some of the great pages of the opera and flute repertoire: Daphnis and Chloé by Ravel, Prélude to the Afternoon of a Faun by Debussy, Carmen by Bizet, and the Overture to Guillaume Tell by Rossini.

A concert that celebrates the magic of opera and the art of dialogue between flute and piano — a suspended moment not to be missed.
